Anita Saar is CEO of the Estonian Credit Union in Toronto. ECU is celebrating its 65th anniversary with the launch of a major technology renewal program. Anita is a strategy and change leader, who has experienced firsthand technology differences in North America and Europe as an international management consultant with Bain and Company and the Proudfoot Company. Corporate head office strategy roles, include electronic payments strategy at CIBC and Corporate Strategist at Aviva Canada.
An active community member, Anita has served on a number of charity / not-for-profit boards, including CARE Canada, the Financial Women’s Association in New York, Tartu College, and the Chair of Estonian Studies Foundation. Anita holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of Toronto.
